Out of This World Nursery

Hey fellow readers!

I've been DYING to share with you all my son's nursery because it's so cute and perfect and I just love it! I'm pretty sure there will be more added to it as time goes on but I just can't wait any longer. I've been patient while my mom paints the dressers that once were mine when I was younger and then painting his customized name which I'm also obsessed with.

I liked the idea of outers-space/galaxy theme because it's unique (like me) ...I don't like traditional anything if I'm being honest. I'm an antique and vintage kind of gal who likes to start her own path...dress the way she wants and gets tattoos that represent who she is. So, instead of dinosaurs or an athletic theme; I decided that astrology and outer-space would be a cool and different nursery theme.

Just putting up the crib and putting away some of the clothes that we received has been an overwhelming but amazing experience. It just hits you more and more as you see everything really come together (and the stronger kicks LOL) and the baby shower coming up this Saturday. Anyways, before I get too emotional...here are the results.

So, both of the dressers and the rocking chair I've had since I was a baby but Mom painted them this beautiful blue and grey to match the theme; the crib is new and assembled by yours truly as well as the glider (don't know where they came from though because they were a gift), the dreamcatcher I added from my collection of dreamcatchers, and well the rest have been gifts.

My boyfriend helped with putting the spring bed in but I have to say (and want to) I put together this nursery myself and I'm pretty damn proud of it especially for my baby boy.

P.S. We weren't going to announce the name until birth but I had to post the whole nursery so now all know...it's Zaeven...the rest we'll reveal at birth.
