The Story

Well, I want you all to know a little about me as a person before I tell you the why of the story and blog.

Who I am:

My name is Jordan and I'm originally from Michigan but moved to the Carolina's around 2006; so I've been here for a long time. I currently reside in the Charlotte, NC area where I absolutely love it here, mostly because it's a city. I'm 24 years old and currently pregnant with a baby boy due in April! I have my Associate's, Bachelor's, and Master's degree but going to get my 2nd Master's degree in Fashion Merchandising and Management (I love school, big nerd over here). Addition to that, I'm currently pursuing my real estate license which is a lot more information that it sounds or looks like.

The Why:

Why I'm writing this blog is because I proposed a new resolution to myself for the 2021 year because 2020 was so absolutely horrifying and because I need a new embrace. I'm doing this because I want to create more inspiration and creativity in my life; more of a right-brained world than a left. I've always been different when it comes to my beliefs and who I am and that I am a leader in in itself. My "Why" is to become more of what I want to be and where I want to be instead of "I wish" or "I will" because those words mean nothing. So...here I am creating a blog that may or may not be successful but at least I'm doing it.
