My Little DIY

Hey all,

Sooo, I have had this cute little shelf-thing that my mom gave me and it's kind of been just sitting around waiting for me to put it up on the wall or do SOMETHING to it. But between the baby, finding a job, and getting ready to start school again; it hasn't been the easiest but having family here is a HUGE help. My mom actually does stencil on pretty much anything you can think of so she has the paints, paintbrushes, etc. So, it was kind of a bonus; she could watch Zaeven (and get grandma time) while I work on the shelf that has been thoroughly abused and abandoned as you can see.

Once it was hung up, the light really showed all the dust it has collected and all the chips that needed to be covered and I just couldn't leave it like that...plus, I wanted to add some design to it. Soooo, that's what I did. At the end of this post, 'll be providing you all with the steps and materials you need if you decide you want to try it out; it really is a simple but yet fun process! But here is my final product of this shelf; I'm very happy with how it came out and I think my crystals will be happy in there too!

Just so you all know, I used the stencils from Punky Creations and can also get tons of inspiration and stencils from this business as well! Make sure to like and share this page!
