Hey all,
Hope you guys read my last post about my little adventure at the crystal mine which was super awesome! So, on our way back to head home we actually passed a small and historical little town (those are our favorites) and saw a very old looking church. Of course, I told mom to turn around so I could take some pictures of this beauty and so we did.
I can't remember what the name of the county was which is unfortunate because I can't find the history of it nor the church. The church had no historical signage nor date it was founded so I have no history on it to tell you guys about it. I even Google searched it to see if anything would pop up but all I got was "grasslands" LOL. I honestly don't know how Catfish does it when they do their image searches. You could tell by its structure and the doors that it had been there for some time and those are the kind of landmarks I love seeing; especially on road trips where everything you pass by is unexpected.
It really was a beautiful church that unique characteristics like the entryway and the top of the church where it shows great architecture. My favorite part of it was the steeple which was showered in an old wood that shows signs of rotting from weathering. My mom's favorite was the doorway in which has a nice arch along the white, wooden door.
If anyone knows of this church or finds out about it, please let me know!
