Schooling Away

Hey all,

So yesterday I went on a cleaning spree and it was definitely refreshing to get almost everything cleaned (the laundry is killing me). I cleaned Zaeven's room, the bathroom, and my room and I was exhausted to say the least but felt super accomplished with the exception of 2 huge piles of clothes and blankets staring me in the face. Anyways, as I was cleaning his nursery, I finally found my Associate's degree to go with my others. I wanted to have all of them together so I could hang them up in a group starting with my high-school diploma to my Associate's degree to my Bachelor's and ending with my Master's degree. I'm high-key a super nerd and am not ashamed to admit that I love school and learning new subjects and concepts but haven't found my true passion. So, that's why I'm going back LOL. Yepp, I'm going back for my 2nd Master's degree in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing and I truly think I will love every minute of it.... something that I'll truly be invested in.

But I really am proud of my success and my degrees and how much I've accomplished within such a short period of time and that's really thanks to my high-school, HCS Early College High School. I was able to receive my high school diploma AND Associate's degree at the age of 18 then my Bachelor's degree at the age of 21 and finally my Master's degree at the age of 23. I mean, not many people can say that and save money while doing it and that's something I'll always cherish and appreciate.

However, it is slightly frustrating trying to get a job out of college as a lot of people say but it's the truth. No company wants to give you the opportunity to get that experience; they say they do but they don't and I wish I knew why. It's irritating for every college student that comes fresh out of school and they can't that opportunity that they spent thousands of dollars for trying to get. So, I do encourage big or small businesses, give us a chance; we may make mistakes but that's a part of the process of learning and understanding. We can't do that if you don't give us the chance!

But thank you to all of these schools and teaching faculty for giving me the opportunity to learn and grow:
