Hey all,
OMG, I have so much to catch you all up on because it really has been a while but the first and most recent event that has happened is my first Mother's Day. Everyday really is a blessed day to be Zaeven's mom but yesterday felt special spending the day and time with my boyfriend's side of the family and getting a special Mother's Day gift from him. Mother's Day really shows everyone coming together and celebrating the birth of our beautiful babies and how much mom's really do to take good care of those babies. I was on Facebook and just saw so much love and support to one another; it really made that day so much better and seeing everyone celebrate life in general.
So, I really want to take the time to post about my experience about being a mom so far. It has made me a better person in every way possible to being happy about every moment with him to crying along with him because we both just stayed up all night making sure he was okay and he got what he needed. I'm not going to lie to you; not every day is easy but I can tell you it's SO worth it and I love my son SO much. I feel like as he grows, I grow along with him learning what he likes and what he dislikes. He has become so much more mobile, kicking and moving his arms EVERYWHERE...even trying to jump out of our arms lol. He lost some hair along the way so now he kind of looks like a 70-year-old man especially when he is about to cry with the forehead wrinkles but is still very cute. He is a growing boy now weighing, well, last time we checked at least, at 9 lbs. and 7oz so he now drinks about every 2 hours and he definitely lets you know when he is hungry or when he wants to be picked up. However, he loves laying on the playmat that has sounds and colors he can listen to and watch especially watch because he loves looking at the light; any kind of light. He'll just sit in your arms or the swing and just look with those big blue/greenish eyes; he is just so captivated by it. He loves to be rocked and held close to us and definitely loves to sleep on our chests after he finishes his bottle; therefore, you cannot move...not even a breath and he will wake up lol. Oh, but the best and cutest part? He'll open his arms and his hands wide and will bring them back in like he is about to give you the biggest hug ever...it really is the best thing to see.
That's my son and the things I've learned and experienced as his mom which has been the best (but also tiring) thing I have been through. I love him so much and just can't wait to keep watching and learning more about him and his, already, funny personality.
Btw, he is 1 month already...about to be 2 months on the 31st! Where is the time going?!
