Hey all,
I know it's been a minute since I wrote but a lot has been going on in my life including today and my baby turning a whole 2 MONTHS! Where has the time gone? I just don't know but he's growing by THE second and just getting cuter along with his weight and height. He's doing full on coos now and I heard him giggle for the first-time last night, it was pretty freaking amazing! Every time I squish his little tummy and talk in a high-pitch baby voice, he gives me the BIGGEST smile and I just melt. He absolutely loves it and so does my heart and every hormone inside me LOL. He's become more alert with pretty much everything and staying up longer during the day which is realllyyy good but just having the trouble of switching over to his crib. I can't help it; I want him to be next to me at all times but I know that can't happen and he has to get used to it one way or the other. But every time either Justin or I try to put him down in there, he immediately wakes up and starts wailing so if you all have any tips on transitioning from bassinet to crib, I would REALLY appreciate it. The only downside of him being 2 months now is the shots start and I just can't. I'm so not ready...I'm pretty sure he'll be handling it way better than me. Once I hear that cry, I will...no I AM going to start bawling because I can't do anything but kiss his cheeks and talk to him and even that won't be enough to satisfy my motherly protection over my baby. So, please send him AND I good vibes for tomorrow, and that I won't be crying louder than him.

Are you swaddling him at night? Try putting a blanket or something that smells like you in the crib with him. as far as shots go he won’t remember and the crying will likely only last a couple of minutes. You’re doing great little mama.
